Moving the museum 1917 (63kb)

The building which was, at the time the, the BC Provincial Police Office and Jail was moved to it's present site in 1917.
Using horses as the motive power it was moved from it's original site in Keremeos Center which was approximately 3 Kilometers north of the present village.
The BC Provincial Police used it until the RCMP took over in 1950 and continued to use it until they moved to their new building at the top of the hill in 1959.
